The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-working day Saints has introduced exterior renderings for the redesigned Provo Utah Temple and the Smithfield Utah Temple.
Irrespective of whether under development, below renovation or in procedure, Utah has 28 temples introduced.
President Russell M. Nelson introduced at the October 2021 Common Conference that the Provo Utah Temple would be reconstructed, subsequent the completion of the Orem Utah Temple. The Provo Temple locale will stay the similar, but the exterior will be redesigned. Closure dates have not been introduced.
On top of that, the Smithfield Utah Temple declared at the April 2021 Normal Meeting will be constructed on 13.3 acres at the intersection of North 800 West and West 100 North. This temple will be three stories and 81,000 sq. toes.

The other temples that have been declared in Utah contain Ephraim, Heber Valley, Layton, Lindon, Orem, St. George (Purple Cliffs), Saratoga Springs, Syracuse, Taylorsville and Tooele (Deseret Peak).
