Today’s Craigslist entry takes us to Hemisfair, the historic site of the 1968 World’s Fair, and into a two-bedroom, one bathroom apartment at the aptly named The 68.
It’s right in the heart of downtown San Antonio in an area that is on the cusp of blowing up thanks to an ongoing $200 million redevelopment.
Sound pricey? Wait until you see the view.

The kitchen doesn’t seem like much, but it’s enough to get the job done. The new appliances help.
CraigslistThis time we’re starting in the kitchen. Well, really we’re starting in the main living area of this 1,638-square-foot apartment that uses an open concept. The kitchen isn’t huge but it has the counter space to get the job done. Let’s turn around.

This two-bedroom give the open-concept new meaning as the tall windows open up the space.
CraigslistAnd there’s the view. Being right in the center of downtown San Antonio gives you a living room, dining area and balcony with a view of the Alamo City’s skyline. The tall windows help.

Can you imagine waking up to this view of the San Antonio skyline? But how much will it cost?
CraigslistAnd this is the view residents can wake up to in one of the bedrooms. The Craigslist posting didn’t have much details, but The 68’s website says each apartment comes with concrete floors and tall ceilings. There are also washer-dryer connections in the unit.

The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a separate tub.
CraigslistThe bathroom is a little narrow but it has the space for a walk-in shower and a separate bathtub.

Yes. That is a dual pickleball and basketball court on the roof. That’s not the only amenity.
CraigslistWhether it’s a game of pickleball or basketball, you’ll be doing it high up among the San Antonio skyline with this rooftop court that also over looks the mural work done by Madrid artist Ruben Sanchez, according to the website.
On top of being pet-friendly (and there’s a pet wash zone for your pooch), other amenities include a fitness center and bicycle storage to name a few. You could also take a short walk to the Yanaguana Garden, or dine at Dough whenever for dinner without worrying about parking? A perk if we’ve ever heard of one.
The monthly rent for this space is $3,529. A downtown two-bedroom rental in this area goes for an average monthly rent of $2,353.
