Guess the rent of this luxury two-bedroom apartment off the San Antonio River Walk

Home prices have surged drastically this year, making it difficult for those looking to but their first home. So people are still renting. But San Antonio rents aren’t necessarily dropping. From finding your perfect new home to negotiating rent prices, searching for an apartment in San Antonio can be quite the experience. Taking inspiration from our sister publication SFGate in San Francisco, MySA is looking at local properties showcasing the best, worst, and everything in between here in the Alamo City. Let’s guess the rent.

We’re heading downtown again, San Antonio. Today’s Guess the Rent takes us into a two-bedroom apartment at The Agave at 633 S Saint Mary’s Street.

Whether you want to take a dip in the resort-style pool or go for a run along the River Walk that’s just a few steps away, The Agave is surrounded by plenty to do.

But how much will it cost to live in this 821-square-foot space? Let’s take a look inside.

The open kitchen comes with modern appliances and a bar.

We’re starting with the area everyone tends to congregate — the kitchen. Track lighting and modern stainless steel appliances are what you’ll get with this unit. The double doors open up to a balcony.

The view of downtown may not be a panoramic vista like last week’s offering, but waking up to a view of the Tower of Americas as your focal point is nice touch.

Maybe it’s the angle, but the tub looks a little cramped. The walk-in shower, however, looks like it has plenty of space.

The Agave offers plenty offers plenty to do in the complex itself, including this rooftop lounge where you can host guests with a backdrop of the Alamo City skyline.

But should you decide to venture off, Southtown is just a short walk or drive south of the apartments where you can find some of San Antonio’s most popular restaurants and bars.

So how much will it cost to live in this area?

The rent is $2,080 a month for this unit, but the post says there is a $1,000 discount for a one-year lease. The average rent for a two-bedroom apartment in the area is $2,259 a month according to Zumper.
